Warranty and Returns Policy

Oz Diodes LED products are covered by a 3 years manufacturer's warranty against defects on workmanship or materials used unless otherwise stipulated for certain products. The 3 year Warranty is also covered by Oz Diodes from the date of purchase for normal operational hours  use and doesn't cover 24/7 operational usage.The warranty service is limited to the replacement or repair of our LED products. Replacement products are subject to the same warranties as the original. You must retain your proof of purchase for any manufacturers warranty claims. Refunds will be issued by direct deposit, cheque, Eway or PayPal at our discretion. This warranty does not cover the LED products if they have been mishandled, improperly installed, disassembled or used with the incorrect standard driver or transformer. All LED 12V Lamps/ bulbs & spotlights must be supported by an appropriate LED driver. All our LED Lamps/ bulbs & spotlights should not be installed in an airtight enclosed fixture as this will void your warranty and reduce the life expectancy of the product. Avoid leaving LED Strip lights and LED Outdoor Feature lights in open sun exposure for lengthy periods.Our LED strip lights carry a 1 Year Warranty are water resistant IP65 Rated and should not be submersed in water, i.e. Swimming pool,etc. This could result in the LED products becoming brittle and crack. Warranty is void on LED Strip lights if modified or amended, i.e. length shortened, joined, etc.Our LED Swimming Pool Lights are factory sealed for waterproofing and should not be modified or disassembled because this will void your Warranty. Our LED Swimming lights is supplied with a 2 meter cord length to sufficiently enable the wiring connection to be away from contact with water and the installing Electrician should ensure that the wiring connections is properly waterproofed sealed. All our LED products are to be installed by a Licensed Electrician and apply the AS NZS 3000.2007 and relevant amendments wiring rules. No other express warranty applies, except as stated above.  

 If, for any reason, you are not happy with the product that you have purchased on-line, Oz Diodes is happy to exchange or refund the item/s  provided you notify us within  3 days from receipt of delivery to you and that the product is returned to us within 10 days undamaged and it's in  original condition including packaging.  It is the customer's responsibility to pay all freight charges to return the item, unless there is a defect or we supplied you the incorrect item/s ordered. In this case we will also refund you the return courier cost. Any items returned to us marked COD will not be accepted and returned back yo you. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items are adequately and securely packed to prevent damage in transit.

Although not required it is suggested you insure returns, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

If goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown, you may choose between a refund or exchange. Please see instructions below for Defective Items.

Defective Item

When it comes to returns or exchange, we operate a “fair and reasonable” policy. All items are thoroughly inspected for defects at our depot prior to shipping. You should contact us immediately on receipt of your parcel (within 3 days) if you believe there is an error and deem it necessary to return the item. All exchanges and refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and may be refused at the discretion of Oz Diodes. Oz Diodes will process Warranty returns, exchange and refunds within 14 days.

How do I return and item:

  • Simply log into your account.
  • In the My Account section, click the My Orders and Returns tab.
  • On the ‘Search for orders’ page, click the ‘Search’ button.
  • Find the order containing the item you would like to return.
  • Click the ‘Create Return’ button.
  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and select the corresponding ‘Reason for returning’.
  • Click ‘Create’ button.
  • Once we receive the Return Request, we will send you an email confirming your return.
  • If you have access to a printer, please click on ‘Please click this link to see the return details’ link,
  • Then click on the ‘Print Return Slip’
